Tips to Malai Kulfi

  • Adding MILKMAID, as mentioned in the above Malai Kulfi recipe, not only sweetens the treat but also adds to its creamy consistency. It's a key ingredient in achieving the right texture.
  • Infuse the milk mixture with flavourings such as cardamom, saffron, or rose water to enhance the taste and aroma of the kulfi.
  • Add chopped nuts like almonds, pistachios, or cashews for extra crunch and flavour in your Malai Kulfi.
  • As mentioned in our Malai Kulfi recipe, make sure the mixture cools completely before transferring it to moulds and freezing. This prevents the formation of ice crystals, ensuring a smooth and creamy final product.
  • When unmoulding your frozen kulfi, dip the moulds briefly in warm water to loosen the kulfi. This will make the process easier and prevent cracking.
  • Let the Malai Kulfi freeze for at least 8 hours or preferably overnight for a perfect texture.
