Ingredients for Coconut Mawa Fire-crackers
- 1 Nestlé MILKMAID Mini
- 1 tbsp Nestlé Everyday Shahi Ghee
- 1/4 cup Mixed nuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup Rice flour
- 1/2 cup Desiccated coconut
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
- Pinch of salt
For Filling
- 1/2 cup Mixed nuts, finely chopped
- A pinch Saffron (to sprinkle)
- 1/2 cup White chocolate, melted
For Colour
- 1/2 tsp Beetroot puree
- 1/2 tsp Cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp Saffron colour
How to make Coconut Mawa Fire-crackers
- In a pan, add ghee, once it's hot, add mixed nuts and roast it until golden brown. Keep aside for further use.
- In the same pan, add ghee, once it's hot, add rice flour and saute for 2-4 minutes.
- Add desiccated coconut, a pinch of salt, cardamom powder and MILKMAID, and mix well.
- Add roasted nuts and mix everything well.
- Divide the mixture into separate bowls and add the colour of the choice.
- Let it cool to room temperature and make lemon-sized balls, give them the desired shape or shape them into phuljhari.
- Transfer it onto a serving dish and coat it with chopped nuts, drizzle white chocolate and garnish it with saffron strands.
- Allow it to set. Arrange nicely on a serving platter.
