Ingredients for Jaggery Cake
- 1 Nestlé MILKMAID Mini
- 1 cup Nestlé a+ Nourish Dahi
- 100g Suji (Semolina)
- 100g Atta ( Wheat Flour)
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Soda Bicarbonate
- 100g Butter
- 150g Jaggery
- 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
- 3 Eggs
- 1tsp Vanilla Essence
How to make Jaggery Cake
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 180⁰ C. Lightly grease an 11x7” rectangular baking tin and dust with flour.
- Step 2: Sieve together wheat flour, baking powder, soda bicarbonate, and cinnamon powder. Soften butter in a bowl; add Nestlé MILKMAID and jaggery, beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Step 3: Slowly fold in the sieved wheat flour mixture and dahi alternately to the butter mixture till all the wheat flour and dahi are used up. Add vanilla essence and mix.
- Step 4: Pour the batter into the prepared baking tin and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or till tooth pick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean
- Step 5: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a while. Then, slice and serve.
