There are several pradhaman (kheer) recipes in the rich cuisine of Kerala, but this one sure is the queen of them all. Made from MILKMAID Pure Ghee, flakes of cooked rice, milk, and sugar, it typically takes ages to prepare, however this simple, convenient recipe, will ensure that you enjoy the same great taste in a matter of minutes.

Ingredients for Ada Pradhaman buynow

- Water

- NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk

- NESTLÉ Ghee

- NESTLÉ a plus Nourish milk

- Ada

- Cardamom Powder

- Kaju (Cashewnuts) Chopped

- Kishmish (Raisins)

How to make Ada Pradhaman

  1. Put Ada in 2 to 3 cups of boiling water for 15 minutes. Drain off the water. Heat one table spoon NESTLÉ Ghee in a kadai and fry the Ada lightly.
  2. Boil NESTLÉ a+ Nourish milk and water in a thick bottom pan. Add ada and cook on low flame, soft stirring continuously. Add NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk, stir well and cook for another 5 minutes. 
  3. Sprinkle cardamom powder, mix well. Transfer to a bowl. Heat remaining NESTLÉ Ghee, add raisins and cashew nuts. Fry till light brown. Add to the Ada Pradhaman and serve hot or chilled.
