2 tspElaichi (Cardamom) Powder
5-8 strands Saffron(soaked)
How to make Malai Laddu
Mash paneer with hands till smooth and creamy. In a kadhai, mix paneer and MILKMAID well and cook on a slow flame, stirring constantly.
Cook till the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the kadhai, remove from flame and add colour and essence. Mix well and pour this malai on a plate.
Allow the malai to cool. Make laddus of the malai, sprinkle elaichi powder on each laddu and serve decorated with silver leaf.
Note: If the mixture gets too dry and is grainy/ difficult to shape into smooth ladoos, grind the mixture in a mixie to make it into soft & smooth dough.
