
Chocolate Gujiya Recipe

Ingredients
For Dough:
- 1-1/2 Cups Maida (All-Purpose Flour)
- 5 tbsp Nestlé Everyday Shahi Ghee
For Filling:
- ½ tin (200 gms) Nestlé MILKMAID
- 3 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 2 cups Grated Coconut
- 3 tbsp Chopped Nuts (cashew nuts, almonds & pistachios)
- 1 tbsp Elaichi (Cardamom) Powder
For Chocolate Sauce:
- ½ tin (200 gms) Nestlé MILKMAID
- 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 50 gms Butter
- for FryingOil
How to make Chocolate Gujiya
- Cook all the filling ingredients on the flame until thick.
- Pour ghee and water into maida and knead a pliable dough. Take small portions of the dough and form balls. Add filling inside the balls and shape it into gujiya with the help of a fork, sealing it with a little water. Deep fry in hot oil till it turns golden brown.
- Heat chocolate sauce ingredients together until they leave the sides of the pan. Glaze the gujiyas with sauce and serve.
