Chocolate Sweet Pongal Recipe

Ingredients
1 tin
Nestlé Milkmaid
8 tbsp
Nestlé Everyday Ghee
1 cup
Rice
4 tbsp
Moong Dal
1/2 cup
Jaggery
3½ cup
Water
6 tbsp
Cocoa Powder
1/4 cup
Roasted Cashewnuts
1/4 cup
Roasted Raisins
How to make
Chocolate Sweet Pongal
Soak Moong dal & Rice in water for about 2-3 hours. Then drain off the water and wash them properly.
Now, add 2.5 cups of Water in a saucepan along with the soaked rice and dal. Mix well. Simmer until cooked and the water has evaporated.
Meanwhile, we will prepare the jaggery syrup in a pan, add the jaggery and 1 cup of water. Cook on low flame till the jaggery dissolves.
Pour this jaggery syrup in the cooked rice & dal mixture along with Ghee, Cocoa powder and Milkmaid. Mix and cook for about 5 minutes.
Add in the roasted raisins & cashew nuts, and mix.
Serve hot & enjoy!
