Tips to Sooji Laddu (Rava Laddu) Recipe

  • Roast rava on low to medium-low flame until it turns golden brown or aromatic. Otherwise, Rava Laddus may taste raw.
  • When preparing the sweet, choose fine-textured rava as one of your key Rava Laddu ingredients to give the laddus a slight crunch. Using superfine or powdered rava may cause the Rava Laddu to stick to your mouth while eating.
  • Stir the rava mixture continuously to prevent it from sticking to the pan.
  • Our Rava Laddu recipe uses cashews and almonds, but you can also add your favourite nuts and dry fruits.
  • Let the Rava Laddu mixture cool down completely, so it thickens and becomes easier to shape.
