Ingredients

  • 1/2 tinNestlé MILKMAID
  • 1 cupNestlé a+ Toned Milk
  • 1½ cupPlain Oats
  • 1 cupButter
  • 1/4 tspCardamom Powder

How to make Oats Modak

  • Step 1 Roast plain oats with some butter on a medium to low flame until they become slightly brown. Once cool, blend them to a fine powder in a blender.
  • Step 2 In a pan, combine Nestlé MILKMAID and milk, and cook on a low flame. Stir continuously until it boils. Add the grinded oats powder and butter. Continue cooking on a medium flame until the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan. Remove from flame and add cardamom powder.
  • Step 3 Transfer the mixture onto a plate and let it cool lightly. Shape the mixture into modaks and serve!

  • While making the oats modak, roast the oats on a low flame to avoid burning or charring.
