Ingredients for Thandai Milk Cake

For Thandai Masala

  • 1/8 cup Almonds
  • 1/8 cup Cashews
  • 1/8 cup Pistachios
  • 1 tbsp Fennel Seeds
  • 5-6 Cardamom
  • 6-8 Black Peppercorns
  • 1 tbsp Poppy Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 2 tbsp Rose Petals

For Cake batter

  • 1/2 tin (200gm) Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 1/2 cup Nestlé a+ Nourish Dahi (Curd)
  • 1.5 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Flavour
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 4 tbsp Thandai Masala

For Tres Leches mixture (Rich Milk mixture) :

  • 1 cup Nestlé a+ Nourish Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Flavour
  • 3 tbsp Fresh Cream

For Frosting:

  • 4 tbsp Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 1 cup Hung Curd
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Flavour

How to make Thandai Milk Cake

  • Blend all the ingredients for thandai masala and keep aside. For cake batter, add Nestle MILKMAID, dahi, vanilla flavour and oil. Whisk to make a smooth & creamy mixture. Add the remaining dry ingredients & thandai masala and mix well to make cake batter
  • Pour the batter into a 8x8 inches lined pan and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes. For the rich milk mixture, mix the ingredients together. Prick the cake with a fork & pour the rich milk mixture. Then refrigerate the cake for an hour.
  • For Frosting, whisk all the ingredients till creamy. Apply the frosting on the cake. Sprinkle some Thandai Masala on top. Slice & enjoy!
