Ingredients for Eggless Chocolate Cake
- 1 tin Nestlé MILKMAID
- 175 g Maida (Flour)
- 100 g Butter
- 3-4 tbsp (25 g) Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Soda Bicarbonate
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 200 ml Aerated Soda
For Icing
- 1/4 tin Nestlé MILKMAID
- 4 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 50 g Butter
How to make Eggless Chocolate Cake
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 180⁰ C. Lightly grease an 8” diameter baking tin and dust with flour.
- Step 2: Sieve together maida, cocoa powder, baking powder, and soda bicarbonate. Soften butter in a bowl, add Nestlé MILKMAID, and beat well. Add vanilla essence and mix.
- Step 3: Gradually fold the sifted maida mixture and aerated soda into the butter mixture, alternating between them until all the maida and soda are incorporated.
