Choco Vanilla Layered Blancmange Recipe

From the romantic land of France, comes this succulent, rich and sweet milk-based pudding dessert that can turn your frown upside down! Bon appetite!

Ingredients for Choco Vanilla Layered Blancmange

  • 1 tin (400 gms) Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 3 cups Water
  • 8 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 40 gms Dark Chocolate
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Essence

How to make Choco Vanilla Layered Blancmange
  • Mix Nestlé MILKMAID with water and blend well. Divide this mixture into two halves.
For Vanilla layer:
  • Mix 4 tbsp corn flour with little water to more a paste. Bring half of the diluted MILKMAID mixture, prepared in step 1 to boil, add the corn flour mixture and cook on a low flame, till thick. Keep stirring all the time.
  • Remove from flame and add vanilla essence. Divide the mixture into 4 stemmed glasses and allow to set in the fridge.
For Chocolate layer:
  • Blend remaining 4 tbsp corn flour with little water to more a paste. Bring the remaining diluted MILKMAID mixture to boil, add the corn flour mixture and cook on a low flame, till thick, stirring all the time. Remove from flame
  • Break the dark chocolate into bits, add to this hot milk and stir until the sauce is smooth and chocolate is melted.
  • Cool the mixture and spoon into the glasses over the Vanilla layer. Smoothen the top and set in the fridge.
Garnishing suggestion: Sprinkle white and chocolate curls over and serve
