Mango Barfi (Burfi) Recipe

Ingredients for Mango Barfi (Burfi)

  • 1 tin Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 2 tbsp Nestlé Everyday Shahi Ghee
  • 1 cup (100 g) Besan
  • 3 cups Mango Pulp
  • 10 Chopped Cashew Nuts
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder

How to make Mango Barfi (Burfi)

  • Step 1:  Dry roast the besan in a pan till light brown. Keep aside.
  • Step 2:  Cook the mango pulp and Nestlé MILKMAID together in a thick bottom pan, adding the roasted besan slowly. Mix well to avoid lumps. Continue cooking.
  • Step 3:  Add ghee and cook till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
  • Step 4:  Add the cashew nut and cardamom powder. Mix well.
  • Step 5:  Remove from heat and transfer the mixture into a greased shallow pan. Smoothen the surface and allow to cool.
  • Step 6:  Cut into desired shape and serve.
