Ingredients for Pumpkin Halwa

1/2 cups (300 gm
NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 cup (150 ml)
Kaju (Cashewnuts) chopped
Pista chopped
Badam (Almonds) chopped
800 gm
Pumpkin (Kaddu) finely grated
2 tbsp
Desiccated Coconut
1/2 cup
1 tsp
Elaichi (Cardamom) Powder

How to make Pumpkin Halwa

  • Heat ghee in a karahi, add the cashew nuts, pistachio and almonds. When they turn light brown, add the grated pumpkin and sauté for 5 minutes.
  • Add the milk and cook till the pumpkin is tender. Mash well and cook till almost dry. Sprinkle the desiccated coconut and stir well.
  • Add the NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk and stir continuously till the mixture is thick. Sprinkle the cardamom powder, mix well and remove from fire. Serve hot.
