Ingredients
- 1 tin (400 gms)Nestlé MILKMAID
- 1-¼ cupsMaida
- 1/2 tspSalt
- 2 tspBaking Powder
- 1/2 tspBaking Soda
- 2Eggs
- 1/2 cupButter
- 1/3 cupPowdered Sugar
- 1 tspVanilla Essence
- 1 cupChopped Dates
- 1 cupWater
How to make Date Bake
- Sieve maida, salt, baking powder, and baking soda together and keep aside. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, butter, sugar and vanilla essence till the mixture becomes creamy. Mix the sieved ingredients into the egg mixture.
- Meanwhile, heat Nestlé MILKMAID, dates, and water in a pan till it boils. Cool slightly and add to above mixture.
- Pour this batter into a greased cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180oC for 45 minutes or till the cake is done. Remove from oven, cool for a while. Cut into pieces and serve chilled.
