Date Bake Recipe

  • 1 tin (400 gms)Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 1-¼ cupsMaida
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 2 tspBaking Powder
  • 1/2 tspBaking Soda
  • 2Eggs
  • 1/2 cupButter
  • 1/3 cupPowdered Sugar
  • 1 tspVanilla Essence
  • 1 cupChopped Dates
  • 1 cupWater

How to make Date Bake

  • Sieve maida, salt, baking powder, and baking soda together and keep aside. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, butter, sugar and vanilla essence till the mixture becomes creamy. Mix the sieved ingredients into the egg mixture.
  • Meanwhile, heat Nestlé MILKMAID, dates, and water in a pan till it boils. Cool slightly and add to above mixture.
  • Pour this batter into a greased cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180oC for 45 minutes or till the cake is done. Remove from oven, cool for a while. Cut into pieces and serve chilled.
