FAQs on Banana Cake

1. What happens if you over-bake Banana Cake?

Overbaking your Banana Cake will give it a dry, biscuit-like texture. It's essential to monitor the baking time carefully to ensure you get a perfectly tender and enjoyable cake.

2. Why did my Banana Cake not turn out to be fluffy?

A lack of fluffiness in your Banana Cake may be due to overmixing the batter, using too much banana, or inaccurate ingredient measurements. Overmixing can lead to a dense texture, while excessive moisture from bananas can affect the cake's rise. Make sure you follow the accurate measurements given in the Banana Cake recipe and gently mix the ingredients for a fluffier cake.

3. Why is my Banana Cake sticky?

A sticky Banana Cake may result from overripe bananas, excess moisture, or underbaking. Ensure bananas are ripe but not overly so, accurately measure ingredients, and bake until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs for ideal texture.

4. Why is Banana Cake bitter?

You can avoid an overly bitter taste in your cake by refraining from excessive use of baking powder or soda. It's crucial to meticulously follow the instructions in our Banana Cake recipe to guarantee a delicious and perfectly balanced flavour.
