Tips to make Jaggery Cake

  • Allow the butter to reach room temperature so it mixes easily with the jaggery and Nestlé MILKMAID for a smooth batter.
  • If your jaggery is solid, grate it finely or lightly dissolve it to help it mix evenly.
  • Alternate between adding the wheat flour mixture and dahi, folding gently as mentioned in the Jaggery Cake recipe, to keep the batter light and airy.
  • Toss in nuts or raisins for added texture.
  • Fold the ingredients carefully to retain the air, keeping the Jaggery Cake soft and fluffy.
  • Ovens vary, so check the cake at 25 minutes by inserting a toothpick in the centre. If it comes out clean, your Jaggery Cake is done.
  • Let the Jaggery Cake cool before slicing for clean cuts and better flavour.
