Mahalabia Recipe


  • ½ tinNestlé MILKMAID
  • 3 cupsMilk
  • 3 cupsWarm Water
  • ½ cupRice flour
  • ½ tspVanilla essence


  • 3-4 tbspFinely chopped nuts (Almonds, Pistachio)
  • 2 tbspSesame seeds

How to make Mahalabia

  • Mix rice flour with 1 cup of milk, until the mixture is smooth. Add vanilla essence and keep aside.
  • Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan and simmer. While stirring constantly, add the rice-milk mixture. Heat it on a low flame and add Nestlé MILKMAID. Mix well.
  • Cook till the mixture starts to thicken.
  • Once the mixture thickens, pour it in individual serving bowls and refrigerate overnight.
  • While serving, garnish with nuts and seeds. Serve cool.
