Ingredients

  • 1/2 tin (200 gms)Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 2Eggs
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 1 tspBaking Soda
  • 3 tspPowdered Sugar
  • 1 tspVanilla Essence
  • 3 cupsFlour
  • 250 mlOil
  • 100 gmsJam

How to make Jam Doughnut

  • Whisk eggs and Nestlé MILKMAID together. Add salt, baking soda, powdered sugar, vanilla essence and mix well. Add flour, little by little to make a smooth dough. Add as much flour as the dough can hold and knead. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Flatten some dough with a rolling pin to ½ inch thickness and cut into the shape of a doughnut. Fry the doughnuts until they rise up and turn golden. Check if they are cooked by inserting a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out clean, the doughnuts are cooked. Leave them aside to cool.
  • Slit the doughnuts 3/4th of the way horizontally and fill in with Jam. Top with more Jam and sprinkle the top with powdered sugar. Serve Chilled!
