Ingredients for Kashmiri Kesar Phirni (Kong Phirin)

  • ½ tin (200 g) Nestlé MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 lt Nestlé A+ Nourish Milk
  • 2 tbsp Nestlé Everyday Shahi Ghee
  • 7 tbsp Suji
  • ½ tsp Cardamon powder
  • 10-12 strands, soaked in 2 tbsp milk Saffron
  • 2 tbsp, blanched and cut into slivers Almonds
  • 10-12 Rose petals

How to make Kashmiri Kesar Phirni (Kong Phirin)

  • Step 1: Heat Nestlé Everyday Shahi Ghee in a kadai and roast the suji till light brown. Keep aside.
  • Step 2: Bring Nestlé A+ Nourish Milk to a boil and add roasted suji and mix thoroughly. Add saffron and keep stirring the mixture till the suji is cooked. Add Nestlé MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk and simmer for 5 minutes
  • Step 3: Add cardamon powder and mix well. Turn off the flame and serve garnished with almond slivers and rose petals.
