Cup Cakes Recipe

This cute dessert is as much a treat to make as it is to eat! Bake these cupcakes with your kids, play around with the frosting and create some sweet stories on holiday.

Ingredients for Cup Cakes

For Cupcakes:

  • 1/2 tin (200 gms) Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 3/4 cup Maida
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 3/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 6 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

For Frosting:

  • 3 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 4 tbsp Softened Butter

How to make Cup Cakes

  • Sieve maida, baking soda and baking powder together. Whisk Nestlé MILKMAID, butter and vanilla essence together in a bowl. Fold in the sieved ingredients into MILKMAID mixture.
  • Preheat the oven to 150oC. Pour the batter into moulds till ¾ full and bake at 150oC for 20 minutes or till done. Cool and keep aside.
  • For the frosting, whisk cocoa powder, vanilla essence, powdered sugar and butter until evenly consistent and light. Fill piping bag with frosting and decorate the cupcakes.
